The kiddos and I made name tags for dinner the night before Thanksgiving (at the guitar store). No one questions the name places and sits where their names are, on the plate. We decided NOT to write their names, but adjectives that begin with the first letter of their names.

We missed the Matt/Mary clan and Grandma/Grandpa, though we made them cards too!
We all pitched in for the dinner. I made yams for the first time. I was so nervous that I ended up making 5 different kinds: regular, 2 brown sugar and butter, yam crisp, and marshmallow topped. The yam crisp was deliciously sweet, like dessert for dinner - every kids' dream! We had delectable turkey, honied carrots, green beans, creamed potatoes, 2 kinds of cranberry sauce, home made rolls, mmmm I could go on and on. YUM!
